Balls of steel

Sometimes one really finds examples of the great spirit. Many that watched this clip said that the guy was not quite sane. It seems extremely stupid and irresponsible to do this. Every step of his is a kiss with the death. A speedy free climb of Eiger is quite a thing. And yet I envy this guy. Not because he is free. You can successfully claim that he is a slave of his pride, of his endless, unsurmountable lust for this particular adrenaline. And maybe at the end of the day he is really more slave than we are. Yet, this guy looks so in love with this. And all these people that are so in love with one thing or another really matter. Well, we all matter, but their lives (often shorter than ours) keep the dreams alive.
